I am building a list of process steps in Mac iWork Pages, like this: 1. Do this task. 2. Do another task. 3. If the results of (2) are something, then do something else. 4. Do another task. I am hand-typing the "(2)" in point 3. If I then add an item between 1 and 2, then 2 becomes 3, and then my reference to 2 will be invalid, because it should say (3).
