We have a user's manual for a medical device called SureTouch, which is used for performing breast exams for cancer screening that needs a read-through for content and clarity, and then to be formatted for a high-quality, professional appearance. The manual will primarily be read electronically, but will be available in a printed version on occasion, so the deliverables should support both options. The source document is in Microsoft Word 2010, and all modifications should maintain compatibility. In addition to design updates, general work should be done to ensure that all figures and tables are numbered and captioned and are listed along with the table of contents. Any and all feedback and recommendations for improving the manual will be welcomed. In addition, there are a handful of sections in the manual which may benefit from line-art-style sketches. We are interested in any and all such recommendations, and if you are capable of doing artwork we are interested in that as well...
