ZeeVee manufactures translation devices for video. These are small devices (about 4"x7"x1") that usually reside near television or near a video source. In many cases users want to rack the devices up densely in a 19" rack. I need a rack cage, and brackets designed to hold the individual devices in that cage. There are probably 2 or 3 pieces to design. Sheet metal is the medium. There are no unknowns as ZeeVee has models for all the devices to be mounted. Freelancer should have all tools required to generate a model and submission package for a sheet metal manufacturing house. ZeeVee will handle submission and interface to fabricator.

I am building a device that will pair with several Bluetooth hands-free headsets at one time, mix their microphone outputs, and put the mix back out to the headsets. I am using 4 Laird BTM511 development kits for my prototype; each one is to pair with one headset. Phase 1 (immediate): help me with the hardware at my desk (LP1) 1. Help me understand the profiles and roles involved (I am new to Bluetooth) 2. Help me get my development kits paired with my headsets I have a Frontline BPA600 Bluetooth protocol analyzer but I'm just now learning how to use it. Phase 2 (next 2-3 weeks): design the next prototype (LP2) using a microcontroller such as Arduino to: 1. run a simple user interface (pairing buttons and indicator lights) to initiate connections to headsets 2. send commands to the Laird boards to accomplish pairing I can handle the audio mixing using analog circuits. Phase 3 (next 2-3 months): design the final lab prototype (LP3) on one circuit board holding the microcontroller an...

Hi, I am developing a product prototype which requires some internal electronics to function. I am looking for someone to create the pcb design arrange for the manufacture of up to 5 boards, test, debug and supply. The key to this is that it is for a small run prototype, it is to be built from proven of the shelf parts, it doesn't need to be elegant or efficient, it just needs to work and keep working so I can test the product in user groups. I have attached a schematic showing how I would like it to function. Bear with me, I am a mechanical designer so hopefully it makes sense! I would expect you to work with me to thrash out the specification before you start. Good English speaking is essential and I would expect to keep in close contact through Skype and I will be designing the mechanical interface alongside you. I am looking for someone to start on this immediately so please don't respond if you are not able to give it full attention right away. Could you let me know your h...

I'm working on a side project that is a wearable device. I'm working with an electrical engineer on the circuitry, and I myself am a software and interactive design engineer. I need occasional advice on some industrial-design-engineering components of the device. These components tend to interface with the electronics on a slightly industrial level, like the housing for a button, the casing for the device, or available displays to achieve a goal given compact size requirements. Sometimes slightly more electrical, like "is there an analog meter that is thin that I could use to do this?" So I think it could be wise to bring in the advice/time of an industrial design engineer. He/she should understand things like buttons, displays, building the casing for an electronic device, and he/she must be able to search for parts and have a solid knowledge of component options. The workload is small, starting at something like only 0-2 hours of consultation a week, and could last from ...

I need designs for a product prototype. The two foundations of this project are intensive training through targeted stimulus and performance analysis of soccer skills. Sample -   [obscured]  /CKC2yo26f88 Targeted stimulus - a portable soccer kickback wall combined with a grid of lights tells the user where specifically to aim their kick. When the ball hits the wall a different light should stimulate the user to strike another target. The user controls the rebound and strikes the subsequent target. Two or more units must wirelessly work in concert. Each target should emit a noise telling the user which unit to turn towards. Performance Analysis - The unit must determine kick speed, kick accuracy, and if possible (though not necessarily) rebound control time of each repetition. The results must be stored on a database. This is the crux of the project and by far the most difficult problem, all solutions are welcome as long as costs stay low. Some technologies I have conceptualized for...

I need someone to design and provide a prototype of a design I have in mind. The end goal is to have "jacket" that will wrap around a glass or plastic carboy, monitor the temperature of the carboy, and cool it when the temperature rises above a certain level. I was envisioning this jacket containing liquid (water?) that would draw the heat from the carboy on the inside, and a peltier element somewhere on the outside. A circuit board with an MCU would read the temperature from a thermistor touching the carboy and activate the peltier element when necessary, cooling the water in the jacket, and thereby cooling the carboy. Also, somewhere the jacket there would be a display of some sort indicating the current temperature of the carboy, along with simple up/down buttons to set the max temperature the user desires the carboy to be. This is how I envision the product actually accomplishing the objective, but I'm not engineer and am open to your ideas about how to accomplish it....

This job is to take iconic 3D models, get them in Unity, and apply a skin and style to them to make them look like they are part of the Iron Man 3D user interface. Here is a list of some of the models.   [obscured]  /wiki/List_of_common_3D_test_models For the art direction, see   [obscured]  /v2/?portfolio=hud. In your proposal, please break the work into two chunks. We'll start with one model, and see if your work meets our needs and if you enjoy working with us. If there is a mutual fit, we can start tackling more models. This should be a fun project for someone who enjoys using Unity and has good 3d chops.

OVERVIEW My goal is to build a temperature controller for curing composite resins by using an Arduino to turn on/off a SSR that is attached the heat source. I want to implement the PID algorithm to insure the ramp and temperature holding are as smooth as possible.
