If you are a hardware engineer, this is the task for you. Use your creative skill to come up with a way to program or manage any vacuum pump to have some intelligence. The vacuum pump can be programmed to pulse, meaning you can program it to increase slowly, wait for a short period, then decrease slowly, wait for a short period and then increase slowly until it reaches the highest vacuum level. Step 1: Convert any aquarium(fish tank) pump, whisper pump or refrigerator pump into a "vacuum pump". You can search for any of these on ebay or amazon. It costs anywhere between $10 to $20 USD. If needed, I can provide instructions on how to modify these pumps into a "vacuum pump". It is best to create an "add-on" device that can work with any existing vacuum pump. This way, we don't need to spend huge amount of money to manufacture the vacuum pumps from scratch. Step 2: Use whatever suitable programming language to create the below User Interface to acce...

The program is written in Python, and uses some Python built-in mathematical operations. I want it to be converted to C++. The program does not require any user interface, it is used to perform some computations for aircraft model. The tricky parts are python built in operations and input-out put files. I hope it can be finished within 2 weeks.

Hi, I am developing a product prototype which requires some internal electronics to function. I am looking for someone to create the pcb design arrange for the manufacture of up to 5 boards, test, debug and supply. The key to this is that it is for a small run prototype, it is to be built from proven of the shelf parts, it doesn't need to be elegant or efficient, it just needs to work and keep working so I can test the product in user groups. I have attached a schematic showing how I would like it to function. Bear with me, I am a mechanical designer so hopefully it makes sense! I would expect you to work with me to thrash out the specification before you start. Good English speaking is essential and I would expect to keep in close contact through Skype and I will be designing the mechanical interface alongside you. I am looking for someone to start on this immediately so please don't respond if you are not able to give it full attention right away. Could you let me know your h...

I'm working on a side project that is a wearable device. I'm working with an electrical engineer on the circuitry, and I myself am a software and interactive design engineer. I need occasional advice on some industrial-design-engineering components of the device. These components tend to interface with the electronics on a slightly industrial level, like the housing for a button, the casing for the device, or available displays to achieve a goal given compact size requirements. Sometimes slightly more electrical, like "is there an analog meter that is thin that I could use to do this?" So I think it could be wise to bring in the advice/time of an industrial design engineer. He/she should understand things like buttons, displays, building the casing for an electronic device, and he/she must be able to search for parts and have a solid knowledge of component options. The workload is small, starting at something like only 0-2 hours of consultation a week, and could last from ...

Moving Guard Overview: Small Plastic "Tags" are applied to things being transported, for example a piece of furniture being moved across country. These tag record and supply feedback data consisting mainly of 3 hazard occurrences while in transit. 1. extreme impact, 2. tilt, 3. liquid/temperature hazard that may occur during transit of the item it is attached to. Once any of these events occur, the event specifics, time and location data is sent to accompanying software. More data can be downloaded (via Bluetooth or micro USB link) such as the entire transit log of impact tilt and moister showing any small variations, once the tags are back with the user to simplify any transmission costs. This product is for the average consumer so it must be a fairly low cost item for them to purchase Hardware: Very durable small plastic "Tags" (no larger than the palm of a hand) that can temporarily adhere securely to anything (may have different adhesive attachments for adher...

I am looking to have designed a small electronics system. The system will consist of a simple timer with user interface, a micro-controller, a light sensor, and a small speaker and LED light to serve as an alarm. The electronics will be implemented into a small plastic and/or glass product. This product is to be used in the following manner: -The user will enter a time (possibly hours and/or days), this timer will then count down. After the timer reaches 0, the speaker will sound a "beep" and a light will flash only after the light sensor detects a significant amount of light. The product will be kept in a dark place 99% of the time and will be in light after the user physically turns a light on. The idea is for the product to sound an alarm after the set time AND after the light sensor detects a significant amount of light. At this stage, I am looking for this small electronics circuit to be designed for a prototype plastic/glass product. I am also looking for advic...

This is a streaming radio app which will play AAC or MP3 streams on iphones and ipads. The interface is a swipe driven experience with swipes down changing genres. Swipes to the left skipping to the next song. Swipe to the right goes back to previous song. Swipe down brings up genres to choose from. Swipe up brings up a search interface. All content is from the UberStations API. See bit.ly/UberStations So this is really a user interface type of project since no time will need to be spent on sourcing the content since it's all provided by the UberStations API. This project will create an iOS version of the app. The Android version is already in the works and available for download and preview at:   [obscured]  /store/apps/details?id=com.secondradio Feel free to install it and use it as a model. It is missing a couple features like search and rewind, but most of the other features described in the requirement document for this iOS app work. Here's a link to a short Youtube...

I am interested in creating a device/dispenser which holds several different vitamin and mineral powders in seperate tubes and can dispense specific amounts (nearest mg) of each vitamin powder into a final base, ready to be put in a capsule manually by the user with the help of an existing manual capsuling device or something of the like. Though we want the device to dispense vitamin powders to the nearest mg, we will buffer the powders with magnesium stearate or a similar buffering powder. to a ration which should help in measurement of each mg of vitamin powder as well. The amounts in mg of powder, to be dispensed, will be pre programmed by the user with a keypad or mobile phone app or some other interface, then the device will automatically dispense that amount. I would like to be able to build many of these devices myself, so we would like the designer to work with that in mind. I would like to find an engineer who can come up with a reasonably simplified electronic design t...

I need designs for a product prototype. The two foundations of this project are intensive training through targeted stimulus and performance analysis of soccer skills. Sample -   [obscured]  /CKC2yo26f88 Targeted stimulus - a portable soccer kickback wall combined with a grid of lights tells the user where specifically to aim their kick. When the ball hits the wall a different light should stimulate the user to strike another target. The user controls the rebound and strikes the subsequent target. Two or more units must wirelessly work in concert. Each target should emit a noise telling the user which unit to turn towards. Performance Analysis - The unit must determine kick speed, kick accuracy, and if possible (though not necessarily) rebound control time of each repetition. The results must be stored on a database. This is the crux of the project and by far the most difficult problem, all solutions are welcome as long as costs stay low. Some technologies I have conceptualized for...
