Here we look at how we can create a simple search engine for web content. The main tasks to a search engine is: ? Build Search Index: Trawling and indexing. Visit web pages and gather information in appropriate data structures. In English: web crawling. ? Searching: Replying to search requests. Practical use only search engines usually resolves these tasks consecutively. In our simple variant should we do this sequentially: We start with building the search index. Then allowed the user to search it. 2 Problem The task is to write a class that implements the interface MyEngine.java SearchEngine.java (described in Section 3). With a satisfactory implementation of MyEngine.java, one can use SimpleFrontEnd.java to apply use and test the engine. There are many opportunities to brush such implementation, and we have here defined the following goals: Secondary objective 4: Efficient memory usage Finally: How can one build a search index that takes the least amount of memory resources?...

The goal is to equip existing avalanche transceiver technology with an LCD screen for a better search function and ease of use. Currently, modern avalanche transceivers are products such as these below:   [obscured]  /pieps-pieps-dsp-pro-avalanche-beacon?ti=UExQIENhdDpBdmFsYW5jaGUgQmVhY29uczoxOjQ6YmNzQ2F0NTExMDAwNDc&skid=LIB0027-ONECOL-ONESIZ   [obscured]  /backcountry-access-tracker-dts-beacon?ti=UExQIENhdDpBdmFsYW5jaGUgQmVhY29uczoxOjEzOmJjc0NhdDUxMTAwMDQ3&skid=BCA0018-OC-OS The goal of incorporating an LCD screen is to make it a better search interface to quickly find another transceiver. The currently technology only shows DIRECTION and DISTANCE to the buried transceiver and it requires a skilled user to effectively use it. Based on personal field experience, even skilled users can have trouble with locating another transceiver. The LCD screen will show the users location relative to the other transceivers in the area. Similar to how a radar s...

I am looking for someone to produce code for a microcontroller which is to act as a node in a wireless mesh network. The network will be used only for the streaming of low quality audio of approximately 16kbps. The node would need to decode the incoming audio stream (opus codec) based upon a channel selection by the user. The preferred microcontroller would be the STM32F4129 or equivalent as the node would also have a touch screen interface. Programming of the HMI would be a separately costed job. No preferred RF chip has been selected yet. Further details are available on request.

I am looking fro someone to design and program an HMI for a wireless mesh network node. The node will have a 2.4" touch screen with an SPI interface. The user will be able to select either one of two fixed channels (Channel 1 and Channel 2) or a third 'Home' Channel which would be selected by the user from a list of available channels. The menu structure is envisiged to be something like as follows: Page 1: Button to Select either Channel 1, 2 or Home Channel. Page 2 (or popup): Ability to set a channel as the home channel or select a fourth channel for listening. Menu structure as: Menu Level 1 (Nine options) - Menu Level 2 (Max 50 options) - Menu Level 3 (Max 20 options) The names for each Menu level or Channel would need to be editable and updatable by a remote connection so this needs to be borne in mind when programming. The graphics do not need to be fancy and a simple, clean, user-friendly interface is preferred. The processor would need to be an Arm Corte...

Dear all, I need some help in translating the drawing models (*.dxf) from curves into surfaces in AutoCAD. Please check the attached powerpoint, the main target is to create a guiding procedure in AutoCAD to extract and repair curves (if necessary), then generate a corresponding surface based on input parameters such diameter and angle, and finally export the results to CATIA. Of course, user interfaces are nice to have. But, this don't need to be perfect, I just need a simple prototype at this stage. If this goes well, then more could be just continued. Please kindly let me know if any information you may want to know. Thanks.

We are developing a new kind of "Walking Desk", faster, more effective and more simple for the user. For this, we are using an arduino card and a touch screen, the SPARK CORE and the adafruit HX8357, specifically. We need someone that can manage with all our specifications of this new prototype. We need someone with both programming and creative skills. The idea is to have a code to control a treadmill with the basic functions, start, stop, +speed, -speed and some other specifications. All this, controlled by the user through out the touch screen interface. The interface is also an important thing while working in a product that is going to be used by people. It has to be creative and attractive to human eyes. Is an interesting project and there are possibilities for you to continue working with us. So if you want to know more about this, send your resumes!! We will have a quick answer for you Is important to now something about the SPARK CORE !

I need a simple Verilog LPDDR2 memory Controller for the Cyclone V GX Starter kit. This FPGA evaluation board has an on-board Micron MT42L128M32D1LF-25 WT:A LPDDR2 memory chip. I need to access this chip from Verilog using a simple SRAM-like interface. This memory controller should be your own design, or a modified open-source one whose license allows for modification and distribution. The user side interface should be simple and allow for reads and writes as seen below. (for writing) 1. Place an address on the bus. 2. Place the data on the bus. 3. Set read/write direction to write. 3.5 Initiate the write. 4. Wait for confirmation that write completed (for reading) 1. Place an address on the bus. 2. Set read/write direction to read.\ 2.5 Initiate the read. 3. Wait for signal saying data on bus is now valid. Status signals about the current state of the memory controller should also be available. The deliverable should be a Quartus project (.qpf), a settings file (.qsf) contai...

General description: We need a device that will record data using a magnetic head from a magstripe to an internal flash memory in PCM or similar format, and a PC software that will run on Windows to download the data from the device and decode the audio data to ASCII. The device: The source code for the device MCU should be written in C/C++ for better portability, preferring the MCU vendor development system. We prefer using the 8-bit PIC family from Microchip as MCU, but AVRs are also acceptable. The device should be built on a PCB with the following size: Length - 10-15mm Width - 5-7mm Thickness - max. 2 or 2,5mm - with components included Power consumption must be very low -- about 7-8mA in standby and max. 12mA in recording mode. The ideal connection between the device and the computer should be direct USB with solderable pads for the connector. Serial interface communication with a MAX232 or equivalent circuit on an aditional board is also acceptable. The capacity of the f...
