We have two components that need to be connected together with proper power and programming interfaces. The PCB needs to be no larger than 2in x 2in. Ideally we would like to have a PCB antenna (2.4Ghz ZigBee), but will settle for a chip antenna if it means space savings. The RFID antenna will need to be PCB. I am interested in designing, developing and manufacturing a RECEIPT size ONLY document scanner proto-type using off-the-shelf electrical and electronics components. Here is a brief functionality description: Upon sensing the paper in the feeder auto start the scan and store the file on SD card in JPG format. There is NO USB port required for file transfer. Only 2 ports required are: for charging the internal battery and the SD card slot. I am developing this proto-type for a project which will require 100 scanners. I'm interested in creating circuit and PCB schematics for RS232 analyzer device. Main functional is to show RS232 sniffed data on LCD screen. Device should have two RS232 ports to be able sniffing data in both directions. LCD screen should have touch screen. Only one additional button will be used ? power button. This project is to design a high-efficiency, compact MPPT Charge Controller based on the attached IC (LT8490), to be used with the attached lithium-ion batteries. The batteries will be attached in a 4S configuration. Each battery is 4.2V, but the charge controller is to only charge them to 4.1V each, or 16.4V for the entire pack. They are to be charged with a CC/CV profile, as per their datasheet. (Configuration of IC on Pg 13 of 8490f.pdf) The charge controller should be optimized for 1-2A of incoming current at 24V, but the locations and parts that should be changed to increase this capacity should be clearly marked in additional schematics. Thermal considerations should be taken into account with component choices, and all possible components should be at least X5R or equivalent. A thermistor divider network should be in place for temperature compensation/shutdown of battery charging. If possible, enough thermistors should be allowed to monitor each battery on the TEMPSENSE pin ...

I'd like to develop a very small (approx 15mm x 60mm) custom circuitboard that can send power via three transistor channels to an RGB LED, as well as power a speaker for playing sounds, which would be stored to an on-board memory chip, get motion data from an on-board accelerometer to detect swings and hits, and interface with a computer via a micro-usb cable (for moving sound files on/off the board, as well as configuring the board and/or flashing the firmware). The scope of this project has increased, in addition to the original job description (attached below) I am now looking for the circuit to contain multiple frame buffers (max of 64). The circuit should also contain a demultiplexer (on the inputs to the frame buffers) to distribute the output from the computer (different images) to each of the frame buffers in sequence. About 4.5" square, 8 layer worked well on previous similar design. Test board for 32 SOIC-16 ICs, there are pads for the Duts on top, the bottom has 8 Samtec ERF-060 120 pin surface mount connectors. Each of 32 Duts has 10 capacitors, so 320 caps total. Have OrCad schematic with clean netlist. Solidworks->DXF layout of board showing all screw holes, pad locations, dimensions, keep-out areas. Job: Route all the 32 x 16 pads on top to connector pads on bottom. Layout is such that connectors on bottom are close to where they go to pads on top.

Hello Elance! I need help in designing a PCB and circuit that will be no larger than W 5mm x H 30mm x T 3mm. The smaller the better, but not to exceed those dimensions. I will be having 2 batteries connected to it that need to work in parallel to increase overall capacity. They will be 3.7v 500mAh (give or take in the capacity) each, so the total will be a 1000mAh power bank. The device needs to be able to safely charge/discharge at a rate of 2.1A. The charging port for the battery will be via USB and the discharge will be a microUSB or 8pin connector. Review a high power controller. The board includes: - low-cost CPU - RS232 and RS232 over USB (via FTDI) - I2C - ADC inputs - digital I/O - 5V, 12V (PWM-able) outputs - high-power mosfet channels (max. 2500W, with bidirectional voltage and current measurements) In total, less than 10 PDF pages (as some pages have identical HW blocks). This is a repost of a previous job with a change in detail. We have an existing preamp for an InGaAs photodiode, whose output is split to separate DC and AC downstream circuitry. We need an extra adjustable gain stage (x1 to x50, or possible x1 to x32)) on the AC chain that also has some bandpass function if that doesn't cause any other problems. Attached is a schematic and description of what we need, and more details on the photodiode properties. We also want a proper software simulation of the circuit (preamp and new gain stage) as described in the attached PDF. We have found many published gain/bandpass circuits on the web (simple Twin-T, Fliege, Akerberg-Mossberg, etc.) and are not interested in a simple cut/paste of anything like this without a proper analysis to show that the solution is optimized for our photodiode parameters and signal levels, etc. The requirement is for a super low noise system able to extract signals on the AC output stage that are 1e-6, or smaller, ...
