I am looking for a mechanical engineer to design and build a working LEGO sorting machine. LEGO are a very popular plastic toy bricks. Here is one example of a sorting machine that uses a camera and a computer to identify the Lego parts. youtube.com/watch?v=6lZ9rSZwDzE the creator wrote a custom software using OpenCV. The program language does not matter to me. It just needs to work. This machine is very slow and is more of a demonstration of the concept. PLEASE NOTE: THE MACHINE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE BUILDT OUT OF LEGO. In fact it is required that it is not made out of Lego. Helpful links: ?
