I run a popular online newspaper web site that lists over 10,000 online newspapers from around the world. Each one of these entries is geo-coded both with standard lat/long as well as WOEID, as used by Yahoo, Twitter etc as a place identifier. I would like to develop an API that allows other web sites to access my catalogue to retrieve newspaper listings (JSON or XML) based on the following: - based on WOEID; or -based on lat/long plus a distance variable (i.e. within 100km or a specified point etc) The API response would include the following fields: - newspaper name - URL (a page on my web site) - city/town - State - Country - Language As is standard, I would also like to be able to control access to the API by requiring use of an API Key, and also have the ability to impose rate limits on access I would like to do all this using Coldfusion (the site uses Railo 4). The database is SQL Server.

I am currently getting information from a server via a web api by manually entering a web url. The information can easily be returned in json or xml format depending on which ever you would like to use. The information returned needs to be parsed, (separated up and placed into a database of some type) so that it may be searched easily in the future. I need assistance in coding something that will allow for rapid requests of information, approximately 100,000 requests per day. I can provide information about the web api, and have a very good knowledge of how the information is arranged. Please only contact me if you know for sure you can handle this job in a very short time. I am interested in running this remotely on a vps, and prefer for the coding to allow the requests to be sent from alternating ip addresses and webapi keys, which I can provide.
