I have a real simple job. I need to award this to any good para legal or person with legal experience. Expats are encouraged to apply. I have written a two page domain name/web site sale contract. The contract is a boiler plate contract that I need to have edited. Their are several paragraphs that need some tightening. See enclosed contract. The buyer is going to be buying two web sites and making payments for 36 months. We are keeping the URL in OUR names until final payment is made. He gets to take possession of the site as soon as the upfront payment is made. I have set payment dates and a late penalty. This part below needs editing. ------------ SELLER and the BUYER hereby agree as follows: 1. Purchase Price. There are contractors in Maryland who have not paid for their rental charges and as you know, to enforce a mechanic's lien in the state, there must be the filing of a Petition to Establish and Enforce the Mechanic's Lien, as opposed to simply filing the mechanics lien in the recorder's office. Unlike a contractors claim which is usually right with defenses such as untimeliness, defective workmanship, non-code compliance, change orders, and the like, these cases are essentially defenseless. It is simply a collection effort. The rental company will probably have a couple of these a month, plus or minus, and we need a Maryland licensed attorney to file and prosecute the actions. I have a law degree and I can actually prepare the paperwork for your review to save you costs. You don't have to be an expert in the field, but simply have some familiarity with the process...
