An image of a map showing a large area of a city. A hand with a magnifying glass slides across the map stopping at a single restaurant. A "heads up display" pops up next to the magnifying glass and displays electrical data about the facility. Approx :10 2D technique. Simple, straightforward, functional style, neither silly nor serious. Less is more in terms of sweep and drama, and no heavy shadows, reflections, etc. Relevant examples welcome. Need by March 10. Thank you!

Our company is Venus Pest Company.   [obscured]   We have 2 locations in 2 different cities and 2 matching Google+ Pages that have verified addresses. One location is College Station, Texas, USA and the other is Carrollton, Texas, USA. Our problem is that a "phantom" Google+ page with our business name now shows up on local searches for the College Station location and it actually appears higher on the map order than our real Google+ page for that location. This "phantom" page has an incomplete address - it only shows the city and zip code, the phone number is an old number of ours that is not in service, and it has none of our reviews. The business name is slightly different. The "phantom" page uses an abbreviation in our company name: Venus Pest Co instead of Venus Pest Company. I have claimed ownership of the page and can manage it. I am afraid I may anger Google if I delete it and can't see how to merge it. The job, then, is to consult ...

We are a small and spunky vacation rental company that serves affordable luxury and we need a marketing plan. We are a small company and need a manageable process. (Email list of under 200 people and 95 likes on Facebook) At the same time, we need to be doing enough that it results in conversions. The process must be manageable, but there must be impact. The plan needs to represent where we are in our growth as described above as well as our fit our business model (single family homes to be used as vacation rentals.) A generic plan that describes best practices without applying them to our context is of limited value. The plan should also address our goals: Increase repeat guests and referrals. About 10% over our 1 to 2 we get now. Increase our occupancy rate from about 40% to 60%. Bring in more than 50% of our bookings through our own website. The plan should be very detailed, cover the next 12 months and reflect a reasonable amount of time for marketing activities for two...

This project is to discuss the possibilities of developing a mobile app using api's from google maps that allows drivers to find and navigate to an available parking spot. The app will be similar to   [obscured]  /find-parking/parker-mobile/. We want to have a discussion with a developer who is familiar with working with google maps and its api to determine if our project/app is feasible. This task will be a delight for any Dev-ops oriented professional. It uses cutting edge technology and can be delivered as a POC. It is very simply to create a cross platform dev environment using Docker & Docker Compose (Previously known as Fig) Our app uses the following stack: * Node.js Express 4 app (You can use a simple express generator app for POC) * MySql as the app db (connection to the db needs to be established for POC) * Redis (for caching & session mainly) *nginx - We need to create a scalable structure therefore use nginx as a reverse proxy These are the requirements very simply put: * Docker - we need to dockerize all the components I mentioned so far, and use Docker Compose (previously known as Fig) to orchestrate the different containers. You will setup all the linking between them, Take care of the hosts file to map local.some.domain.com to the container ip to be able to work in the dev environment browser just the same as production domain and test ...

I have a dataset with 1,350 rows, 1 row for each hour (24 hours x 56 days), across 316 columns, one column for each *independent* variable (production quantities for 316 different machines (in 8 machine groups) for each hour). I have a second dataset with 1,350 rows, 1 row for each hour (24 hours x 56 days), across 17 columns, one for each *dependent* variable (electricity usage for 17 different substations in a single factory that produces products on 316 machines). The data has already been cleaned from its original long format, has been put into a condensed format in Excel, and is ready for consumption by R. The original long format is preserved and converted into a short format as well by way of pivot tables. You *must* look for errors such as 0 entries that don't make sense or other erroneous outliers! You must help me answer this question using regression analysis: As production quantity rises for each machine and machine group, by how much does electricity usage rise on eac...

Please see the attachment. I wrote it up as a mock blog post of a 'reviewer' who has just used the app. Merchant payments I believe should be handled through the Dwolla API, but I am open to suggestions. I see using an API, such as SearchBug.com, to handle the lookup of telephone line type (i.e. cell, VOIP, landline).
