I need a simple text editor where you can only write forward (no backspace, no editing) until you hit a pre-defined word count goal. Then it unlocks and allows you to edit your document. This is the first in a sequence of very simple apps for creative people - each with a unique twist. If you provide good support, code documentation, and we get along, this will lead to other projects. I have been working with startups for over a decade and can provide all design elements. (A plus if you believe you can also make an Android and Web version of this app; not for this project but perhaps in the future.) Type of application development required: New Application Integration requirements: Standalone Application Purpose or functionality of application: - Ability to set word count goal - Only write forwards (no backspace or other options except Save) - *Markdown* compatible formatting - Once hit word count goal, screen unlocks to enable editing Platform(s) desired for application: Mac OSX...

****WE ALREADY HAVE A SCRIPT IN R-STUDIO THAT DOES ALL OF THE FOLLOWING. WHAT WE NEED NOW IS TO MAKE A SMALL EDIT TO OUR SCRIPT TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH A NEW EXCEL TEMPLATE**** **Attached is the script we are currently using. We just need to edit it to work with arbitrary number of columns with different headers** We have multiple choice questions stored in Excel that we want to convert into PDF form. This is for the purpose of previewing, because everything we have in Excel is written in markdown. That means that we use LaTex and designate it with double-dollar signs like: $$Some Latex$$ So we want a script that can do the following: 1) Be run easily on both OSX and Windows, where we just need to specify the Excel file to convert via a path or by dragging the file onto the application. 2) Convert the Excel file into a PDF document by iterating through each column with a header and each row. 3) Each row is separated in the PDF by a line (as shown in the sample output) 4) The hea...

Job Description We are developing an open source framework called Vizabi (  [obscured]  /vizabi/docs/), and we would like to create a static web site that introduces the project, documentation and blog. The website should not use any backend service (unless you show us that it would be a lot simpler), and should ideally be developed with grunt assemble (  [obscured]  /assemble/assemble) or jekyll (  [obscured]  /). So no wordpress, no server side, just simple static page. We need to be able to: - Create content using markdown, with script snippets to run and show examples similar to   [obscured]  /vizabi/docs/ - Post to the blog using markdown - Compile the project to static files (plain JS, HTML, images and CSS) to be hosted on an Amazon S3 instance. It would also be great if: - Styles are done with Sass - Use grunt or gulp Notes: - We use GitHub for code sharing and issues. You will need to provide your GitHub username and commit code on...

Purpose The purpose of this project is to design and develop a consumer for the Five9 API. The software will be integrated into a larger body of work that consists of a collection of API consumers. Scope The Five9 API Consumer is a Python class that has methods to retrieve reports from the Five9 API. The class must support pulling data by specified date ranges and aggregate over date parameters (e.g. daily, monthly, total). All required parameters including the authentication information and report identifier should be expected to come in the form of kwargs. The API Consumer must include a function named "run" that returns a pandas dataframe with the data for each of the bullet points above in a tabular format. The API Consumer must be accompanied by a complete set of unit tests using both live connections to the API and mocked API connections. Greater than 90% coverage is required. Documentation ? Every method in the API Consumer class must include Google Style...

We wish to create an education-based website as part of a home-based business. The site would include some basic Content Management tools to create "articles" or "lessons" that would include formatted text (could be done with Markdown) and attached media including photos, PDFs, videos etc. The site could either provide its own video stream or embed videos from sites like Vimeo and Youtube. Users of the site would be both free and premium users with different content available to them. Premium users would subscribe to the site (via Stripe, perhaps). For on-going management reasons, it is preferred that this code be done in Google Go (golang). While some initial graphic/UX design and functional documentation is complete it is expected that the project includes a round of UI/graphical design prior to development.

That means that we use LaTex and designate it with double-dollar signs like: $$Some Latex$$ So what we want to do is to use Mathematica and import these excel files and generate formatted PDF documents using the Latex. We would like this to be done as an extension of Mathematica or a command we can run in mathematica where all we have to do is specify the file to convert. You can assume that all Excel files will have the same column headers as in the attached example. Attached is an example output. We are also attaching an example of script we wrote for Maple, which produced the sample output here, but since we all run on OSX and have adopted Mathematica, we are looking for a Mathematica solution to this problem. Successful completion of this will require deep knowledge of Mathematica, Latex, a...
