We have pfSense installed and need help with NAT so that it can talk to our Asterisk server. We have 4 ISP connections into pfSense. Asterisk is working find when not connected via pfSense. When within pfSense we are having issues. The Asterisk consultant has sent us following details: "Improper Natting It show that a Public IP is trying to communicate to a Private IP ,which cannot happen without proper Gateway which is handling the NAT. In our case Firewall is the Gateway and we are expecting the Natting to be Handled there. For your help Natting is requested as such: All the outgoing messages should have a Public and not the Private IP. As all the signalling will be receiving a ACK message which is not possible unless the Contact Header is having a Public IP to receive ACK messages. " I have attached the log file and our Network Diagram. I expect you to work with the team, and resolve this NAT / port forwarding issue.
