We currently have a bluetooth module that transmits a string of data and a database setup to use that data string. In addition to that we have a data string(command) that the database needs to send out to the bluetooth modules. We are going to use a Raspberry Pi with a Bluetooth dongle to receive and send the two stings of data to the modules. The Raspberry Pi will use wifi to send the two strings of data to the server and receive them from the server. We are looking to have the Raspberry Pi coded to handle the exchange of data between the server and the Bluetooth module. There are a total of 4 Bluetooth modules and each one will have a dedicated Raspberry Pi handling the data exchange. The modules are Nordic Semiconductor's BLE Modules. The Raspberry Pi will either connect to the server via an application or directly to our Oracle database via it's Web Services. We are looking to have the project done within a 2 to 3 week period. Job Description: Your responsibilities: - Enable...

We are looking for someone to develop a Codesys V3 module/package that can be used to easily communicate with Xbee radio nodes via a serial port. The communications module will most likely contain code and supporting functions to allow easy manipulation and monitoring of a number of Xbee Pro nodes via API calls through a DigiMesh network. Specifically the module needs to allow for: - Communication with any Xbee node on the network via its unique serial number/address. - Setting of pins to digitial outputs (high and low) - Reading in the status of the digitial input pins - Reading in the analog pin values - Performing a heartbeat to nodes to determine when they are online/offline The created module/package must include full documentation throughout the Codesys code and come with a usage document with examples on how to use each function. The created module/package must be usable on the Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi package and should have a configurable poll rate to ensure it doe...

Hi, I was looking at your experience and was wondering if you have the required skills and would like to quote on my job project below. I would like a quote for you to produce the required software boot image for a raspberry pi B+. The software will need to be able to connect to an external IP CCTV camera such as a dlink camera via an ethernet network connection to get the streaming video feed and then output this via the composite video on the raspberry pi. The connections to the camera will be protected by a username and password so there will be a need to be an easy way to provide those details for configuration by a simple user interface. In the same way the simple user interface for configuring the device should ask for the IP address for the camera on initial configuration of a new device. The connection protocols options to the camera need to support HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP and again this should be a user configuration setting. Once set by the user all configuration details for...

We want to use a raspberry pi running freepbx and 2 gsm dongles as a dispatch system. Essentially the customer would call into the system then an IVR would ask if they want their delivery to their usual address (business as usual), or to a new address. If they want the delivery to the same address then it would query a spreadsheet database for that customer's number and send an sms text with the customers address and phone number to the delivery person. If they have a different address they want the delivery sent to then the call would be re-routed to a phone number to talk to a CSR. It would also be great if it could be set up so the current clients are on a white list and go to the IVR. New clients that we don't know their number are on a grey list that goes to voicemail where they can leave their information, and a black list for bad customers/ telemarketers/ whatever.

Hi folks, We have launched an open beta testing of a DIY platform for open source hardware projects. The platform is intended to help new people to start using open source hardware and help experienced developers to work together on the same project remotely by following each other's instructions and contributing to project by submitting patches. During beta testing we want to collect feedback about usability and platform functionality, as well as bug reports and feature requests. We also need to generate some content before the public release. This job posting is first of all about content generation. So we need someone to apply for a beta account and create a project using either Arduino or RaspberryPi circuits. You will need to have your OWN arduino/raspberry pi circuit and rest of the parts required for the project. Project can be fairly easy, but should be complete (so that other people can assemble same device following your instructions) and contain at least 10 steps with sev...

In need of someone who is able to create software that plays mp3 music or internetradio. At certain times it must be able to switch between internetradio/mp3 and some spoken messages. The spoken messages are also mp3 and they should be triggered on certain times or by pressing remote buttons on a transceiver that communicates with a receiver wich is connected to the device thrue RS232. I prefer something that runs on a raspberry pi under linux but it would be great if it can also run under Windows and other hardware. There's need to a graphical user interface so users can select or deselect some of the mp3 messages and change the musicgenre that's playing. They also must be able to switch between internal mp3 music and some internetradio stations. We as a company must be able to change the music and the other mp3 messages over the internet by auto uploading and deleting old files. It would be very nice if it's possible to control this software thrue a webinterface from another...

Looking for freelancer who can prototype a small working version of marked moving object pickup Robot Arm [This could be considered as Toy Robot, which we can buy on-line for around $ 40-60]. In real world the Arm should be capable to pick up 5-10 kg weight object by its handle [lift up to 0 - 24 inch high, which is configurable], handles are marked with X sign or say specific color. Handles are always positioned to be picked up by Robot Arm, but they are moving linearly very slowly, just need to identify them by X mark or color. It should reject or ignore other handle objects and carry that object to up to 10-12 ft [configurable] distance and drop there gently. The Robot Arms will be hanging on the circular Rail Track on the roof, which is either stationary or moving and based on that the Arm should move on track. The Arm should be programmed to repeat the task automatically. Once switched on, its function is continuously look for moving marked objects, pick them at one end and drop a...

i need Teamspeak server on Raspberry Pi B+ on it's web server. I will use a Wi-Fi dongle so it is wireless. I will use a large usb power supply battery pack, so it is wireless. I will need it to have a microphone (cheap one is ok, I will buy it on ebay.) I already have my raspberry pi b+. I will buy an applified speaker for it. I prefer using my Bluetooth wireless amplified speaker if possible. I want to have a teamspeak server on the raspberry pi. (I already have a teamspeak server link that is hosted on their servers, so we do not have to hold all of the files on my raspberry pi, only the client, then we will log into the official teamspeak servers. I do not have much money for this, and I think I can do it myself. if you can do it very fast and not charge much, I may hire you. don't spend much time on the proposal as I may do it myself, but I want to see who has knowledge in this area and maybe we can work something out.

Hello, my name is T.J. McKinney I feel this is a relatively simple project, please read this description to see what I currently have, and what I need. I do not want to spend much money on this project, as I can do it myself, I just want to see if someone can help me that is very affordable. What I have: I currently have a remote control vehicle that I can login remotely from my webpage and drive it. I am using an html page with 5 simple buttons on it, but I want the webpage to look more "fancy." I will have this html ready to just add your images or set of images, unless you feel we need to use javascript or something? But it cannot interfere with my other scripts. I am using .cgi and python scripts and using a Raspberry Pi B+ on my remote control vehicle, that I will call a "rover" for future reference. I'm also using Yawcam software and the on-board Raspberry Pi camera for live video. So I will be putting my 2 live video feeds and live chat on the same page. ...

Hello! I need a software developer who's familiar with Bitcoin and the blockchain, QR codes, wallet addresses, etc., and who will be able to code, preferably in PHP, SQL, and JavaScript, code for a bitcoin ATM machine. I want to use the open source code from the SkyHook bitcoin ATM machine as sort of a template or guide. That code's primarily written in PHP, SQL, and JavaScript. The code's hosted on github and is here:   [obscured]  /projectskyhook/skyhook. The code's functionality and the Bitcoin ATM needs to work like this: A user taps on a screen to get started. The latest Bitcoin pricing on the screen should come from an API from Coinbase or Blockchain.info. That person then specifies how much Bitcoin they want to buy, then the ATM machine asks them to scan their QR code from their Bitcoin wallet on their phone. The ATM machine will have a small camera on the front of it, and when they hold their phone up, the ATM machine scans the QR code from the screen of their phone...

I require assistance with creating a PoC device that can listen in on a specific RF signal generated by a medical transmitter (attached to a constant glucose monitor), decode that data and store it. Ideally, the device will be based on a Raspberry Pi, although I will be happy to accommodate other possibilities. The system needs to: 1. Be able to listen on several frequencies (868.35, 916.5 are two I am pretty certain need to be supported) 2. Capture a very short signal (a few milliseconds) coming in at fixed intervals (e.g. every 5 minutes). 3. Decode signal (which should be unencrypted), and save its digital content The device emitting the signal is this:   [obscured]  -diabetes.com.au/wcm/groups/mdtcom_sg/@mdt/@ap/@au/@diabetes/documents/documents/contrib_107985.pdf (fcc db:   [obscured]  /oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=701227&fcc_id=OH27703) (and belongs to my 5 year old son, wh...

This is a queue management system (like the ones that operate on banks). The concept is simple, clients can (instead of waiting in a line) request queue tickets through their mobile device, or through our website. The server will be running on small mini pc in each bank branch we put it, and will be able to issue tickets to both remote clients and local (physically) clients through a button device. There will be some realtime functionality, but I believe what I'm looking for here is a secure API. The project is made of 3 parts: 1) The client (wether that is through a mobile app, or website) 2) User management server - that keeps track of the user database (payments etc) and talks with our mobile app. (Probably a Rest server) 3) Queue management server that runs on mini pc on each bank. Only part (3) is what I want from you, so assume 1 and 2 are already implemented. Now, ABOUT (3): Informative: - The code will run on a raspberry pi or some other similar mini pc - There will be a b...
