General Project Description: We are setting up a print server o n a Raspberry Pi 1 B+ -   [obscured]  /products/model-b-plus/. We need to print to a USB connected Epson TM-T88V Thermal Printer -   [obscured]  /cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Product.do?UseCookie=yes&sku=TMT88V There is no official Epson TM-T88V driver for the ARM type processor, though we have seen references to using the python-escpos to print. The printer is connected with Google Cloud Print using a python implementation of a cloud print connector. We are able to print some distorted text using a RAW print driver in CUPS, but printer functions such as "auto-cut", aren't capable. IMPORTANT: We need to it to print clear legible fonts and use the auto-cut. We also would like to be able to set paper width/height and resolution. You should have experience/knowledge of CUPS and Raspberry Pi/Raspbian/Wheezy We need this complete as quickly as possible .

Using OpenCV and Banana Pi or Raspberry Pi and Pi compatible camera implement people counter. Operating system of Pi can be Linux, Android or Windows. You can use any technology you want to create managing and all other needed software. Managing software needs ability to connect to camera and define custom multiple lines of crossing for any camera that is used on specified Pi. Every line must have customizable path drawable on camera, need to have ability to specify side from where it counts people crossings (entering or exiting side) and specify id of line (id or name) Every line is drawn by user in software using GUI - Graphical User Interface (mouse drawing like on image drawing in Paint/Gimp/Photoshop/ etc., which means easy to use). For every line user must be able to specify (in GUI): - Custom line path - Crossing direction (multiple directions e.g. IN and OUT) - Line name (unique identification) System needs to be able count multiple people at the same time and after...

Hello! I'm a non-technical entrepreneur, and I'm investigating an idea that involves robotics and live web video streaming. I'm looking for up to an hour of live (phone or video chat) consultation, in order to better understand what technology stack would be advised. My ultimate goal is to understand the costs involved in contracting this work. I'll be using an off-the-shelf product - a 2-wheeled bot that uses a Raspberry Pi to stream its video to a local browser (link below). Alongside the streaming video is a simple joystick that lets you drive the bot around. The idea is to put this experience online, build a queue system so that people can take turns driving the bot around. I'd also like to display data on the front-end. This may come from the Pi - like its speed or the battery level, for instance - or from other sensors in the area. There's plenty of additional ideas that would come after, involving inputs from the user, perhaps a scoring system, etc., but I'm just looking ...

1) RFID based locking solution (Mandatory) ? Making an RFID based lock. ? Integrating the RFID based lock with the Raspberry Pi/Black Beagle. ? The Raspberry Pi should contain the database of RFID tags, which can be updated via an online server (Azure Web can be used to create the web interface), and we should be able to add the RFID tags directly using the web server. ? We must be able to get the logging data (check in time, checkout time, RFID tag no.) on either a note or excel sheet. ? Remember, only one user should be able to use the locker at any given point of time. Reference to how it may look like:   [obscured]  /watch?v=4lra1Y2RsWM 2) Temperature control ? Will be using a simple exhaust fan connected to a relay. ? Measure the temperature using a temperature sensor. ? The raspberry pi should signal the relay to turn on the fan when temperature inside the locker goes above 77 degrees Fahrenheit. 3) Capturing videos and streaming our Internet. ?
