I have very recently decided to make myself available for freelance work. My focus is on computer networking and network security, and I prefer to work primarily with home or small business users. Computers do what they are told. The tricky part is they do what they're told, regardless of who is telling them. That means that a computer or network, if not properly configured, can lay its secrets bare to an intruder, hacker, or other threat. While my focus is on providing computer and computer networking solutions, I place a great deal of care on network security. While no amount of preparation is foolproof, I can help you lock down your data against the overwhelming majority of threats that it will face.
Implementing a physical networking solution is difficult over the Internet, since it requires physical access. So I am also available for a variety of miscellaneous tasks as they may arise. Document formatting, file conversion, HTML and CSS webpage design, or simple transcription--I'll do it all. And with a typing speed in excess of 100 words per minute, it'll get done fast.
