You may need an accurate translation, research assistant, article writer or data compiler. No job is too big or too small for me, and I am willing to do anything you require to ensure the success of your projects.
I am a young professional who is looking to build up my freelance network in the United States. I have a passion for research and language, and the art of making connections between seemingly disparate ideas. I am a diligent and efficient worker, and one who is accustomed to adapting my work style to the needs of clients.
I have a bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology and a master's degree in the History of Food and Culture. I now live in Harrisburg, PA, but prior to this year I lived in Tours, France for four years. It was there that I completed my master's degree, for which I was required to spend a semester in Spain and Italy. During this time, I funded my research by working with the University and local journalists, doing research and translation. In partnership with the University of Francois Rabelais, I worked on a UNESCO cultural heritage preservation project, for which I compiled data and created articles, concisely summarizing key points. My translation work specialized in food and tourism, and I have translated both for wine labels and brochures.
I speak French, English, and Spanish. I travel frequently, write about my travels, manage a blog, and have a passion for language. In my spare time, I hike, rock climb, research new ideas and learn languages.
