I love writing. I enjoy fiction, but feel that my strengths are in non-fiction, essay-type passages. I tie in my personal life experiences, whether that is speaking a foreign language, learning computer science, or breaking a bone, adding a realistic touch to the essay.
Over the past few years, I have had my work featured by Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus of The Minimalists and Renae Chiovaro of How To Have It All. I have written essays up to the standards of colleges such as William and Mary, Hampden-Sydney College, Wake Forest, George Mason University, and Washington and Lee.
I pursue maths with a passion, spending a vast majority of my spare time learning new concepts and practicing problem solving techniques. Though only a high school senior, I have done significant amounts of maths in fields such as number theory, counting and probability, calculus I and II, knot theory, statistics, and group theory.
As for my credentials, I have an ACT composite score of 36/36, and I scored a 790/800 in the Mathematics section of the SAT, both on the first attempt. I have taken the AMC 12 and Mandelbrot tests, consistently scoring above average.
