I am a diversity and education professional with over 25 years’ experience. Please find below a short recap of the services I offer in the field of diversity, as well as my diversity qualifications:
Services in the field of Diversity:
• Diversity Climate Analysis & Audit/Needs Assessment: One model fits all does not work. I conduct a Diversity Audit (DA) of organizations/institutions and come up with a plan based upon the unique needs of the organization/institution. The diversity audit or climate analysis includes a study of the mission, goals, employee demographics, programs/services and its outreach or customer-market demographics. I employ one-to one discussions, meetings with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Diversity Councils (DCs), meetings with leadership and management, and surveys, to come up with an assessment of the organization’s positioning on the Diversity Development Continuum. I also link the assessment with the business interests and goals of the organization. The diversity audit also includes a SWOT (Strength-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) analysis. Based upon the above, a report is prepared and a plan is recommended taking into account such processes as recruitment, hiring, chain management, change management, professional development, and succession planning.
