I began my graphics career in NYC as assistant art director for a financial management firm. I moved to San Francisco to work as a designer and production artist for a motion picture company. Later, as art director for a Silicon Valley computer firm, and head of the department, I initiated and implemented the transition from traditional graphic design and typesetting, to a computer-based system, greatly increasing production and saving the company a lot of time and money.

I've been developing my skills with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop since version 1.0. I've used Illustrator for everything from technical illustration, to brochure design, to fine art prints. I particularly enjoy using Illustrator in tandem with Photoshop, and Photoshop effects to manipulate illustrations and photographs.
To get the most out of these programs, I specialize in the creation unique brushes and patterns to enhance my designs, and work with complex layering and transparency techniques.
