I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a double major in English and Cognitive Science, both of which were writing and research intensive programs. In school, I served as the Local/Interest News Chair for WUOG 90.5FM, a college radio station, and wrote articles for the station's news blog. I also gained online publications experience as the Managing Fiction Editor for Mandala Journal, an online multicultural lit journal. I have been honing my writing in journals, fiction, and personal essays since middle school.
After graduating, I worked as an intern under the PR & Marketing Coordinator for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga, helping design and write content for the organization's new website. I also contributed news and advice articles to Trend Magazine, a publication of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, to be published soon.
I am currently living in New York City, working part-time as an editorial intern for Penguin Group and pursuing tutoring and freelance assignments on the side. I am highly motivated, naturally curious, and quick to grasp new skills and ideas. Choose me for your project, and you will not be disappointed by the results.
