Overview

I have worked as a technical consultant since 1998, offering computer programming and technical writing services to a variety of clients.

I created LabVIEW projects for clients such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratory and John Deere. My LabVIEW experience includes CompactRIO programming at both the real-time and FPGA levels, network communication, GPS synchronization and data analysis. Non-LabVIEW programming projects include numerical modeling of groundwater contaminant transport.

I have written software user...

Service Description

My technical career started in 1998 at Los Alamos National Laboratory. There I was involved in groundwater contaminant transport research in support of the Yucca Mountain characterization project and other projects. The work included both laboratory and field research as well as technical writing and computer programming.

After four years at Los Alamos I formed my own company to offer freelance technical consulting. My core service offerings were LabVIEW programming and technical writing.

My LabVIEW services have included the following clients and projects

* Sandia National Laboratory - CompactRIO system to study electricity generated from ocean waves. Included FPGA, real-time and UI programming as well as communicating with other cRIOs across an IP network.

* John Deere - brake control system for engine testing lab

* Fastek - data collection suite for equipment used in power electronic testing, design and modeling

* Peak Sensor Systems - endpoint and fault simulation application for simulating wafer etching at AMD, Inc. facilities

* Los Alamos National Laboratory - data collection from remote equipment over TCP/IP using FieldPoint modules; data analysis to calculate the hydrogen absorption properties of the materials involved

During my time at Los Alamos I wrote Software Management Reports for groundwater contaminant transport mathematical modeling software. These reports used Yucca Mountain software quality assurance standards which incorporated ISO and IEEE...
