I’ve been voted secretary in our class and organization on my first year; won as secretary of our college/building on my second year; and gained the highest secretarial position of the university’s student council. On Oct. 2011, I started my career as a Quality Assurance Associate in LTS City Foods-Bread Factory Commissary, one of the leading manufacturers of breads, cakes, and pastry products in Region XI, Region (Palawan) and other surrounding cities until present. I verified quality of packaging materials, raw materials upon receiving, during production, and after process, to check whether the products are fit for processing. I also visit our outlets, business partners, and suppliers for quarterly audit to make sure that food safety standards implemented. I also conducted orientation on Good Manufacturing Practices for newly hired employees, answer complaints from both our outlets and consumers.
In 2012, I focused on monitoring in-line production; verifying quality of ingredients, controlling process to make sure it still conforms to the standard procedure, make sure that end products are properly transported and displayed in the outlets, and analysing root cause whenever non-conformity of final product arises, all to ensure that the products are safe to consume before it’s Best Before Date.
In April 2014, I was trained to be a Quality Assurance Supervisor for In-Process. My decision making was heavily tested as I struggle to cope up with the verification of the product specification and process flow of all our existing products as my project/contribution for our HACCP certification.
