“Freelancer failed to deliver working product. Schedule expanded from 1 week to 3 weeks until it became clear that a successful project conclusion was unlikely. Freelancer was not very professional and failed to adhere to critical instructions on three occasions; one of which resulted in small corporate loss. Project ended in dispute, freelancer is aware of Elance policies payment protection policies and was unshaken by disputed time sheets citing said protections. I do not recommend this Elancer as there remains some room for both technical and soft skill growth.”
“Basically, I hired the guy for a job that he estimated would take 2 weeks. I then sent him money to buy a development board for the project and get started. Then things went quiet. I tried to get more information, and he sent me various excuses, but never sent me any indication that he had performed any work at all on the job. In the end I complained. He said that he would refund my money... but he hasn't. Total fail.”
