AskAnalyst is a small company employing two people: myself - Vitalie Eremia, CFA, and another analyst.
I started working in equity research in early 2005, prior to which I worked in a financial institution (while studying in university, although it was more than part-time work) in accounting and therefore had accumulated a very solid grasp of corporate finance, financial reporting, analysis and other areas.
We adhere to the CFA Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
We have worked on hundreds of stocks from a wide number of sectors: Basic materials, Capital goods, Consumer goods, Energy (Oil & Gas, alternative energy), Healthcare, Services, Technology (including hi-tech, biotech, IT), Transportation. Most of these companies had market capitalisation between $50 million and $5 billion trading on NYSE, NASDAQ, OTCBB, AMEX, TSX, LSE, Euronext and other exchanges.
We also have experience with valuation of privately held businesses, including a community-centred music website, a discount health benefits company, a government-owned utility company in Australia, and others.
