So many people have told me that I should try to get paid for my writing but until now I had found it somehow unbelievable that I might make a living doing something I enjoy so much. I earned and maintained a full scholarship on the strength of my essay writing, held down a federal contracting position for four and a half years through my hard work and communication skills, and even edited and wrote for an aggressively ridiculous local paper known as The Weekly Hangover, most of the content of which was... well, a bit too risqué to be...

Service Description

Given clear guidelines and a few examples, I can write in any style required for a project. I spent about three years working for an unofficial satirical college newspaper (where I was mostly paid in beer) as a content and layout editor and officially wrote about a half page of content per week, but considering how I wrote nearly all the captions, ad copy, and emergency "filler" articles for when a writer flaked out at the last minute, it ended up being about a page to a page and a half of writing. Most of this was strictly humor writing, but I also did a number of game, movie, and music reviews, and at times I wrote more informative "straight" articles about issues that would significantly affect our audience (18-24 year old college students and young professionals) such as the article on the 2008 tax rebate that can be found in my portfolio. I would love to write comedy content (or even better, Komedy Kontent) for you, although it would be best if you set clear limits and examples for what sort of humor you're looking for; I will typically stick to "safe" jokes and topics unless specifically told to go further, even though I personally prefer super-dark neo-Swiftian humor of...
