An American Ivy-league graduate with over a decade of planning, writing and winning millions of dollars from federal grants in the US and the EU and winning foundation and corporate support from the Gates Foundation, Cisco, Microsoft, and more. I provide professional fundraising, grantwriting, and marketing services tailored to suit the needs of each client. Think of me as a matchmaker helping supporters and funders find your organization-- bringing in more donations for you as a result.

As for me, I spent most of my fundraising life in the US. I have seen (and raised money for) it all, from small community centers through to multinational development organizations, from technology-in-education programs to innovative medical research to refugee aid. In 2009, I married and moved to Portugal, and from here launched my own consulting business. With clients in Europe and the US, I love my job and am passionate about raising funds for good programs, wherever they are.

Service Description
There are three main ways in which I can help you develop more support and funding: grantwriting, marketing, and fundraising strategies.

There is a special kind of person who thrives on the adrenaline rush and simultaneous big-picture/tiny-detail challenge of grantwriting. I am one of them. You can contract for my services as a grantwriter both on a single-project basis and as part of an ongoing retainer arrangement. My experience with successful grants includes:

Whether you are interested in social networks (Web 2.0), revamping your website (Web 1.0), or just designing a fantastic and coordinated snail mail annual appeal and newsletter, I can help!

Fundraising Strategies
As a former Development Director, I have a soft spot in my heart (and an indelible blueprint in my mind) for creating strategies to grow a diverse mix of funds and a healthy cash flow for nonprofit organizations. This is the most critical conversation that a nonprofit can start with itself and its Board, and I will help you find a tailored solution that suits your specific strengths, challenges, and needs.

She was always available to answer our questions and guide us along the way. Her understanding and proficiency in the grant writing space was instrumental in making this an enjoyable and seamless project. I highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again!”
