I'd like to think that my key aptitudes are a talent for the written word, the ambition to succeed and imagination to see beyond the obvious.
I spent many years working in Intelligence Analysis, writing lengthy and complex reports that required in depth research and no little amount of precision. I am a fully trained Strategic Intelligence Analyst, and whilst no longer employed in that capacity do bring the skills honed in that profession to the work I undertake these days.
A change of location (from England to Greece) last year gave me the opportunity to broaden my horizons. I left the barriers and perimeters of my previous writing career behind me and now have the freedom to write for a wide audience on a diverse variety of subjects.
Though at my happiest working on human interest articles, I am just as thorough and professional when working in other aspects of writing - whatever the subject matter may be.
I write articles and features for the Anglo/Greek womens magazine, 'Nisea' published in Corfu where I live, and am keen to undertake more online writing.
I have been writing a personal blog since 2007. Based on my experiences and observations of life in a small Corfiot hill village, it has in the last few months attracted interest and many positive comments from over 5000 readers throughout Europe and beyond.
