Local media lead for the three Bay Area families that participated in JDRF’s 2003 Children Congress, a bi-annual event where 200 children, representing all 50 states and who live with juvenile diabetes, converged in Washington, D.C. before Congress to tell their stories and urge lawmakers to help find a cure. Children’s Congress is part of JDRF’s “Promise to Remember Me” campaign.
