Cory started out as a small print freelance designer that created logos, drawings, illustrations, storyboards and paintings. Cory has received an associates degree in Digital Art and Animation, as well as a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts.
In 2003, he worked as a graphic designer in Roanoke, VA. After returning to Richmond in 2004 to attend VCU, Cory was offered a freelance opportunity with the National Geographic Channel as a graphic artist after showing his work to visitors from the channel. After the freelance opportunity had ended, Cory was offered a job as a video editor/motion graphics artist for McArthur Communications, Inc., in Richmond, VA. A couple of years later, after seeing his work, Fox's SPEED Channel asked Cory to become a full-time motion graphics artist for them.
