I write academic works in the form of articles, reports, essays, books, and other academic copy. I also create technical reports, and write most other forms of non-fiction copy for museums, non-profit companies, and independent researchers.
All clients will remain informed throughout the entire writing process, i.e. rough outlines are submitted early, all work is documented, general work summaries are submitted regularly, projects are always completed on time, and I am always available for client needs. Many academic projects benefit from two minds working together closely, and I habitually avoid "writer's ego" when working on projects.
I have worked extensively in the cultural resource management field. As a professional historian and archaeologist, I've performed extensive research, report writing, academic contributions, editing, and published maps. Previous employment includes Janus Research (private historical, archaeological research co.), the Archaeological and Historical Conservancy, and the Archaeological Bureau of Florida.
I am very experienced in academic writing, and I was drilled for years until I could write a lengthy report using only literal expressions. I have written brochures and developed tours for the Graves Museum of Archaeology and Natural History, and contracted historic tours in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
