I graduated top 10 from my high school and currently hold a steady 3.5 GPA from Franklin & Marshall College as an English Major focusing on Creative Writing. I take pride in my writing and grammatical skills, both of which continue to improve as I further my education.
I enjoy reading and taking in stories from all genres and mediums, so I have a diverse range of experience dissecting and discussing the ins and outs of narratives. I have written short stories, plays, and a number of analytic essays, all of which required careful editing and revisions that matched their specific and unique needs.
For years I have worked with fellow students in various departments to proofread and polish their work, and I have found it imperative to find each writer's own voice and proceed from there. I strive to find the core of the work and help fine-tune the details that will strengthen the project as a whole.
I have also been a dancer for most of my life, studying a myriad of styles from ballet to jazz and modern. This has given me a number of opportunities to lead and work with others while choreographing my own pieces. As an instructor, I have found positive reinforcement, confidence, and clarity are the most important aspects of working with others, and I have applied this to my overall work ethic. I like to stand on equal terms with those I am working with, as everyone can offer valuable insight.
