Overview

Minimum Hourly Rate $29

I began editing professionally three years ago, while working on my M.A. at the University of St. Thomas. My degree relied upon an ability to work with deadlines, strict attention to detail, and good habits of clear and thorough communication. Service Description

I have a broad range of editing skills and experience. Since 2010, I have also run my own business selling tractor parts, which requires self-motivation and time management. I have developed the good habits necessary for freelance editing.

This ultimately helps the writer better understand their own story and how the reader perceives it.

Line Editing:
--I analyze each sentence to ensure it is ready for the reader. I look at grammar, punctuation, spelling, consistency and word usage. I am very good at rewriting or rewording sections in a way that clarifies but does not change your meaning.

Proof Reading:
--Spelling and grammar are important. I own a dictionary and know how to use it.

Academic Writing:
--My own experience...
