Hi, now that the testimonials are out of the way, please take a moment to review the following. Then to discuss YOUR goals and how my writing and knowledge may help you achieve them, send an invitation to bid.

If you are looking for a researcher, writer or editor who can quickly grasp the specs of a project and then work independently to complete it to your satisfaction, consider my services. If your project is ethical and you care about accuracy, originality (100 percent plagiarism-free) and creativity, consider my services. No offense to those who live and work in low cost-of-living countries or who are hobbyists or part-timers earning a little pocket money, but I live in California, U.S. and my writing supports my family: Therefore my rates begin at .03 to cents per word, but the price may be higher depending on the project's specifications and research required. I want us both to be happy with the deal to create a win-win. You get high quality, and I will be thrilled to write for you and deliver to meet or exceed your expectations.

As a general assignment reporter/feature writer, I wrote intelligently (for the most part) on any assignment my editor threw at me. But as with all writers, I do have my passions and areas that through practical experiences and research, I've acquired an expert status. These areas include the following subjects and often involve my skills in teaching, inspiring and informing with a dash of humor and solid references:

Psychology -- Self-Help -- Mental Health, especially in the fields of Anxiety, ADHD and Asperger's (on the Autism Spectrum),Family/Relationships.

New Thought/LOA/Conscious Creating: New Thought Christian teachings, such as Unity (Catherine Ponder's books) to Spiritual- but-not-Religious, I offer an immense background of knowledge and experience in the areas of creative visualization, LOA, mind-over-matter, reframing (more on the psychology side), co-creating, positive manifestation, visualizing with love for better results, etc.
I also am good at finding themes and symbolism in books such as fairy tales and Harry Potter that teach the art of manifestation.

Eco-Travel, Green, Travel, Sustainable Travel, Outdoors Recreation (hiking, camera safaris, paddling, camping, etc.)

Green Living and Living off the Grid

Digital Photography for hobby, income and/or marketing.

Nature/Gardening: A former editor of Demand Media's Garden section and a former writer and assistant editor at the Rogue River Press, I worked on many, many stories about gardens, specific plants, wildlife, rivers and other beautiful aspects of nature. I also wrote for the Medford Mail Tribune's Homelife. I've also written several how-to articles on topics such as backyard pond building, nature crafts for kids and organic gardening.

Animals: Horses, dogs and cats are my specialties. I've written extensively on vet care and training (based on interviews with professionals and research).

Freelance Writing: In addition to full-time work as a reporter, and before that as a teacher and educational therapist, I've freelanced for newspapers, magazines, websites and entrepreneurs/IMs. Freelancing is not an easy road, but if you value freedom and creativity, it's the best road for many writers and other creatives such as photographers.

Creative Writing, Fiction (for children, teens, YA and adults) and Creative Nonfiction. Or nonfiction, journalistic writing or marketing writing with elements of fiction, such as sensory description, figurative language, anecdotal examples, etc. Being creative is a big part of who I am and what I can bring to your project if so desired.

I look forward to hearing from you,
