I have a 96-minute audio file I need transcribed. Clear audio recorded over a teleseminar recording line.
I'd like the transcript back within 24-48 hours and lightly edited (i.e. no ums, ahs, like, stutters, etc.). Final transcript should read well.

“The transcript had several spelling and grammar errors, as well as a few inaccurate words transcribed. After going through the first 15-20 minutes, I had to hire someone to go through it and fix it before I could use it myself. This actually put me behind schedule. Dave had asked for a small extension because another project from another client came through that was of higher importance. I said that was okay, so I didn't rate low on schedule. However, because of the quality of the transcript, it put me behind my own schedule.
I will say, though, that for the cost alone, I would recommend Dave. It wasn't a bad raw transcript, but I had asked for it cleaned up -- which it wasn't. The transcript was pretty much verbatim minus ums, ahs, etc.
He's also very, very polite and lets you know what's going on every step of the way. On schedule and doesn't leave you wondering where the work is.”
I sincerely thank you taking the time to leave such thorough feedback. I am genuinely sorry that the quality of the transcript was not up to par and that it put you behind schedule and you had to hire someone to fix the transcript. I realize it is no excuse, but I had taken on a "rush" transcription job the same day that I was hired to transcribe your audio file. I was up half the night transcribing the other audio file and was absolutely exhausted when I transcribed yours, so I think this probably had some effect on the quality of the transcript that I transcribed for you. As I said, I realize that this is no excuse and I do sincerely apologize for the added cost on your side from having to hire someone else to fix it as well as putting you behind schedule.
