I've been in love with all things writing and reading since I was a little kid, and decided to spend a literal handful of years after highschool learning and sharpening the craft of it. I've more of a creative bent, but have spent over two years now in the technical writing field. I've written and edited everything from technical copy to marketing copy to web/blog copy, and cut my teeth in countless creative workshops.
If you'd like someone as dedicated to...
I graduated 3 years ago with a BA in Creative Writing from Ball State University in Muncie, IN, and have since been working as an Associate Technical Writer at a software company on the northside of Indianapolis.
I've written freelance for NUVO, KRITIK Magazine, SongsForYourDay, and while working as Content Editor for the Indy-centric cycling blog, IndyCog. My writing has appeared in Poetry East, Copper Nickel, Freight Stories, and other literary journals, and recently, a story was selected for the WigLeaf Top 50 Flash Fictions of 2009.
All that's to say that although my passion is for creative work, I'm versatile; beyond my creative work, I've written and edited in numerous mediums and genres including technical, marketing, journalistic, and professional styles--online or for print.
