I am an Illustrator who is excited with every facet of the craft. For as long as I can remember I have been drawing, painting and using art to record and express myself. Four years ago, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from James Madison University with a focus on painting and drawing. After graduation, I enrolled in Kent State University’s Visual Communication and Design program. While at Kent, I focused exclusively on illustration. In particular, I studied editorial and children's illustrations, worked in watercolor and acrylic, and focused on the human figure. Professionally I have enjoyed working for a broad range of clients with highlights being book jackets, postcards, and band fliers to name a few.
In each of these works, I strove to create dynamic images that narrated the client’s story that were delivered at a fair price in a timely fashion.
I am an illustrator who is confident in children's book illustration, poster art, character design, editorial illustration, and technical illustration to name a few. My tool belt includes watercolor, acrylics, oils, pen and ink, Adobe Creative Suite 3 and I value hard work and a concise turn around on each project.
