Most of my software development has been with web applications across various industries. However, I have spent much of the last 2 years working on stock market trading software.
I enjoy the challenge an developing large scale web applications, recently launching a real-time search engine of all the links on twitter.

I'm a firm believer in using the right tool for the job. I have recently used .NET libraries and the Visual Studio Development Environment when working with stock market trading software as it was the right solution for the job at hand. Most stock traders already have a windows environment and the number of existing .NET libraries greatly reduced the overall development time and cost of the project.
