Skills: article writing, content management, content writing
“The rep from ClarkeINK assured me that she would be personally writing the content for the job, and her professional communication with me exuded good writing skills and professionalism, so I was excited to see what she returned.
What I got back was virtually unusable. Not only did the writer clearly not have a grasp of the English language (I suspect this was a non-native English-speaker), but also she did not even come close to following instructions for the writing project, which were illicit in the job requirements. I provided an outline and a template, both of which seemed to be ignored. I had to do heavy edits and, in some cases, complete rewrites before turning it back over for revisions.
The final product was far better, and to me, obviously written by another person. The final product still didn't follow all of the instructions, but it was well-written and polished, so I accepted it and paid for the project. I would consider hiring only THIS writer again, but I would never recommend the first writer. I will say that ClarkeINK apologized profusely and came through in the end, rectifying an otherwise horrible Elance experience.
However, I would never have expected to receive something so poorly written in the first place. Since I was told that there was one writer for both versions of the piece I received, unfortunately, I cannot recommend ClarkeINK.”
