I graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation. In my current position, the bulk of my writing skills are utilized through brief, objective documentation of therapeutic interventions and outcomes. I also have assisted with grant proposals, resume editing and reviews, after action reports, program protocols, newsletter development and reminiscence creative writing.
During my education, I wrote research papers, article reviews and developed other typical college required writing skills.
My personal endeavors are the style and type of work that I am looking to pursue. I have a golden retriever who humors me daily, grew up with brothers and mischevious cousins in the country of the Midwest and continue to thrive on this mischief to this day. I enjoy sports, eating out, finding new places, meeting new people, traveling and photography. I take too many pictures, but love to find beauty in what is not obvious. I will be gathering a collection of my photographs and selling some of them soon. I am also currently working on writing a humorous book with a college colleague at our leisure that focuses on relationship: the experiences, the outcomes and the lessons learned.
My style of casual writing is objective, yet thought provoking.
