Resume/C.V.

It's simple: writing is my passion and that's why I do it. You need a writer who can deliver the best product your money can buy. I understand the need for cost effectiveness in a business and I try to be flexible with my rates. I've developed a set of best practices to ensure the best outcome which you can view below in the service description. If you want superior quality and someone who'll go the extra mile for you, I can help you.

But it's not enough to be a great writer. It requires a thorough understanding of good business practices, and that's what it means to be a top notch freelancer. I've been self employed for over 20 years myself, so I'm a seasoned business professional.

I only bid on jobs I feel confident I can accomplish well, or I don't bother bidding. My commitment is to provide my clients with excellent quality, so I only take on work writing about topics I know enough about to write about competently.

Let's talk! I look forward to working with you.

Service Description
I understand that when you hire a new contractor, someone you've never worked with before, you are taking a certain chance simply because they are unknown. You don't know the quality of their work, nor do you know their work standards and ethics. You don't know if it will be more of a hassle than anything, but neither do you yet know that they could be the best writing contractor you've ever worked with.

Best Practices Policy

It is because of these uncertainties that I've developed a system of best practices that I employ when you employ me. My philosophy is that communication is the most important ingredient in any kind of relationship, working relationships included.

So when you hire me, especially for a project that involves multiple units (like articles) I begin by writing one unit (or the beginning of a larger project) and then send it off to you for review. That way you get a taste of whether or not I really know what I'm talking about in terms of content, and you get to see my writing quality in action. If you see something that can be improved on, you can say so and it helps me get a better idea of what you want. As we move forward, I will continue to forward you what I'm working on so you can start to relax and know that the work is being done right. If it's not, all you need do is say so and we can agree not to work together if necessary. No harm, no foul.

I also make myself readily available either by email, chat, phone, or skype to facilitate the communication I so believe in.

A Word about Revisions

In general, unless otherwise agreed upon I limit the amount of revisions to no more than 2 or 3. This is to limit the abuse of my time and for the client to be clear about what they want at the beginning of a project.

Now, the Nitty Gritty about My Writing

Because of my advanced research skills and broad background in life, I can write on a wide variety of topics. I specialize in academic and journalistic writing, but I like to write on personal relationships, wellness, spirituality, all things Native American and so much more. I am quick, diligent, stick to deadlines, and have great communication skills. I understand customer service and go the extra mile to keep a client happy with my work.
