As an experienced freelance writer, I can write about anything with great competence and focus. While the majority of my current writing is medical, I do writing in other areas in certain circumstances.
I started writing as a physician. When looking for a second career in writing, I turned myself into a STAR TREK expert for the highly-regarded, print magazine CINEFANTASTIQUE. I soon helped cover the two TREK television shows, DEEP SPACE NINE and VOYAGER. By 1998 I was in charge of all the STAR TREK coverage for CFQ - a cover-story, book-length issue once a year for the two TV shows, and other issues about feature films and special events. As the resident "Trekspert," I had learned everything I needed to know about how an idea turned into a television episode.
I was published elsewhere, providing STAR TREK coverage for FANDOM.COM online, as well as articles on other science fiction television and film for a number of print magazines and websites.
I worked on a number of scripts as medical consultant for THE DEAD ZONE TV show,
As a freelancer I have written about everything from boating in Mexico to cancer incidence in veterans. I have created a murder mystery game along with my associate. I have rewritten copy for a plastic surgery website as well as other medicine-related sites.
I write about healthcare for women and children for a website dedicated to young families as well as a website devoted to aiding people with celiac disease, and a monthly Health Gazette...
