Overview

I write. That's what I do. On anything and everything. If you need some words from scratch, I can do that. If you've written something that you needs improving; I can do that too.

And while I love to write on anything, of course I have my specialist subjects. I can review films, books, music and videogames. I can take a press release and turn it into a news story. I can take a news story and expand it into a feature. I can also do sports.

Service Description

I have worked in magazines for the last seven or so years. I started with a training position run by Emap publishing and PMA training based in London. From there, I moved to a position at the UK's Nintendo Official Magazine where I was staff writer and then senior writer for almost three years.

Following that I freelanced as a sub-editor before settling down at Zoo weekly (men's lifestyle title) as a sub-editor. I also contributed to numerous features and wrote a number of TV previews and entertainment reviews.

I left Zoo in April 2007 having worked my way up to the position of deputy production editor. Since then I have worked as a freelance writer and sub-editor.

I write for the Editorial Intelligence website, providing summaries of newspaper columns for an online portal. I continuedto write for Zoo weekly. I have also worked as a sub and writer on both the game-day programmes for the NFL American football games which took place at Wembley Stadium. These were published by Haymarket. I also write articles for Game-Hub (www.game-hub.co.uk) a videogame website.
