I am the managing editor of the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin, published since 1932 as a resource primarily for law enforcement agencies, government organizations, legal entities, colleges and universities, and libraries. In January 2013 the Bulletin transitioned into an online-only resource located on the FBI's Web site and is available worldwide.
My duties include reviewing incoming material and judging suitability for publication; editing feature articles and other submissions, such as speeches, legal articles, leadership essays, and various shorter articles; peer-reviewing other editors' work; and providing support to other entities in the FBI's Training Division. I have written portions of the material contained on the Bulletin's Web site, including the current author guidelines and the magazine's history. When editing material for publication, I strive to ensure that it is technically accurate, noncontroversial, and clear and useful for the audience. I work with the authors, consult subject-matter experts as needed, and refer to online and printed resources to produce the best work possible.
As the managing editor, I also provide training and guidance to newer members of the editorial staff and make final decisions regarding style.
I am happy to offer my services to you at a reasonable price. I will strive to ensure your compete satisfaction.
