The challenge of helping a leader communicate their vision and inspire their constituents has been my dream job since I was young. Currently, I am the speechwriter for the president of a top 25 national university. I combine art and science behind rhetoric to create campaign speeches, state of the institution speeches, commencement addresses, recognition event speeches and other special occasion speeches.
Most recently, I was awarded two Cicero Speechwriting Awards: 2014 winner of the best campaign speech of the year and 2014 honorable mention overall. See Vital Speeches of the Day for my most recent examples of work. (http://vsotd.com/sites/default/files/2014_CiceroAwardsWinnersF.pdf)
Beyond a speeches, I have experience helping leaders communicate in written form for internal audiences and external constituents.
