I am a graduate with vast experience in Financial Management and Audit. I have had an opportunity to work in big organizations and this has enabled me to gain and sharpen my skills in different areas such as Accounts/Bookkeeping, Financial Management and reporting, budgeting, making reconciliations (e.g. for Bank transactions), Procurement processes, Payment Processes, maintaining Assets Registers and general Office Administration.
I am able to work without or with minimal supervision, prioritize effectively and meet demanding deadlines. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and can also work using accounting and management packages such as Sun systems and FIT system. I have substantial experience in day-to-day accounting procedures and Audit with good analytical and communication skills.
I am good at the English language and I also know French. Thus, I can write and also make translation from French to English. I can do editing or proof-reading of documents.
I have a great interest in freelance work, as a part-time job for now. Being aware of the high level of self discipline and time-management that freelance work requires, I am dedicated to ensure that as much as possible, I meet the needs of my clients. As an individual I am driven by the belief that "if anything is worth doing then it is worth doing excellently".
