Service Description

Echoleaf is an American company composed of a take-charge, self-taught geek.

Back in the days before the internet, I was drawing logos and lettering, cutting and pasting flyers and zines, and collaging artwork for posters. I wrote for, laid out, and published a series of fanzines and tabloids. In the mid 90's, I independently spent a lot of time figuring out the technical ins and outs of digital printing and layout, and specifically the Adobe software suite, and turned all those passions into jobs doing prepress and design for book printers, publishers and publicity firms.

I have a substantial amount of work on the web as Echoleaf. I'm an expert at converting Photoshop mockups to HTML & CSS. I've created sites primarily using WordPress and Drupal, both as blogs and as a customized CMS.

I'm still working on design projects, in all kinds of new mediums as they come up. My last long-term gig had me doing 3D modeling for new products and architectural renderings of proposed projects as well as identity, design and web development, and marketing and promotion.
