As an experienced academic editor with over 10 years of experience in the industry and a PhD in Literature, I appreciate all of the challenges that undergraduate students, graduate students, and scholars face with the writing, editing, and formatting process. That's why I've dedicated my career to academic editing; I strive to ease those challenges for my clients by providing them with meticulous editing services to polish their documents in preparation for final submission. I specialize in thesis and dissertation editing.

My clients often rave about how much more helpful my editing is than the revisions they receive from their own professors or committee members:

I would highly recommend Katrina. She has excellent attention to detail and provides 'above and beyond' editing. In fact, I received more useful feedback in relation to my writing from Katrina than my supervisors!
Service Description
The editing services I offer vary from light proofreading to deep editing, as well as layout formatting and citation-checking/fact-checking. Below are descriptions of my most popular services:

-Proofreading: This service is designed to help you with final polishing of your document. It includes corrections to the spelling, grammar, and punctuation in your document.

-Deep editing: This service goes a step beyond proofreading. In addition to checking for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors, I assist you in refining sentence and paragraph structure, tone, and syntax, to improve the overall readability of your document. The strength and consistency of your argumentation will also be evaluated, providing detailed feedback aimed at enhancing the overall clarity and logic of your document.

-Combined citation and layout formatting: This service provides accurate formatting of all in-text and reference list citations to a specified style guide (APA, MLA, Chicago), in addition to ensuring accurate layout of your document to a style guide and/or university style manual.
