Freelancer Feedback Comments for Client:
“>>Can’t see you contradict yourself? “Otherwise I would have done it before he started”
the client sent FTP access but limited so you cannot get to the site folder. When told, he changed the access but limited to upload files. When told, he finally give full access. It took me almost a day pushing him just to be able to work in the site files…
Anyway, the job was done in time and manner and the client was advised that to do some specific configuration would need to set demo content. The demo content set up was not included in the quote because the specifically said he would do it. Then when the time came he claimed the configuration was not done and sent a link he found in a forum where said exactly that to configure it will need to add categories, sub categories, posts, etc. (AKA Demo content), when reminded that the demo content was not included and would need to pay extra for it he changed the tone.
He also set up some other content in other part of the site where middle score were not allowed (breaking the sef system) and he came back saying it was my fault that it was not working. And many more like that.
In simple words, the client doesn´t know Joomla, asked for components installation for a fix price, and then for the same price expected not only the work done (in time and manner) but also to create demo content (specifically out of the quote by him)and to tutor him on how to use 3 different components and a translation system.
If that isn´t a person who expect much more work done for than what was agreed and quoted, well… you tell me what it is.
Worst part is I took the time to explain that to him before even taking the job and is all posted in the workroom, seems he does not even know how to read…
