“What is the use of bidding on a project when you don't have the necessary knowledge in house? Also, after receiving the project proposal they confirmed me that they could do the job.
But once they started and I reviewed the first coding, it was apparent that they did not have the skills to deliver a the requested high-standard code I was requesting.
For example, in the project title, I requested that the app would be written with the help of KnockoutJs. They did made a reference to the KnockoutJs library, they did use on a few places the observables, but on most occasions they used it as a mere variable to do for each loops in code to build html strings to insert it in the DOM with jQuery. No need to say that this is completely against the MVVM-nature.
No criticism tough if you can't proof it. I spend 4 days (which was much faster than they did), redoing the job and I could do the job in 622 lines of code instead of 1622 lines of code they delivered to us with the same functionality.
What was good: I got a lot of communication, they found the right plugins and they've made a nice splash screen. As they were running over budget, they did offer me to do some non-billable hours (but at the other hand, I had to redo most of the work).
Overall: check twice if they do have the necessary skills available in their company.”
“We delivered the app that was inline with the requirement and is functioning properly on all the platforms like iPhone/iPad/ Android as intended, keeping in mind the end user experience. It was a month long project and during this timeframe we had researched, developed, customized and integrated various plug-ins, media queries and CSS templates. We also had to modify the icenium plugin codes using native ios and android code.
We delivered the app in multiple languages and it was by and large bug free. We also suggested user experience flows wherever we felt. We were regularly checking in the code and had asked for the code review. We would have really appreciated if the client could have given the feedback earlier in any of our communications, so that we could have leveraged the MVVM model more appropriately. However we take the feedback constructively.
We are committed to delivering the applications and we have been successfully delivering them. Please have a look at the other feedbacks and it has never happened that we failed to deliver any project.
