Writing professionally since 2006, I have been writing for leisure for more than a decade. I received a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education in 2001 from St. Leo University; prior to that, I worked in and studied sales and marketing. I have been employed as an English instructor since January of 2001, and since then I have been named English department chairperson, School Improvement Committee chairperson, and senior class sponsor. My duties in all of these areas require meticulous planning and organization, including the planning and implementation of the annual School Improvement Plan, a state-mandated technical document that requires extensive data aggregation. My superior organizational and analytical skills, coupled with my writing ability and knowledge, are directly responsible for the duties I am given to complete.
As a teacher, I have been recognized in Who's Who Among American High School Teachers each year since 2001; I was named the Wal-Mart Hernando County Teacher of the Year in 2005-2006, and I was named the Central High School Teacher of the Year in 2006-2007.
