I am a high calibre academic; I graduated from Warwick University in 2010 with a 2:1 with Honours, having read English and Italian Literature, and am now studying for a Masters in Disasters Adaptation and Development at King's College London. I am a trained wordsmith and have excellent research and proofreading skills; in the final year of my undergraduate degree alone I wrote over 25,000 words in various essays and my dissertation, and I therefore feel perfectly comfortable working autonomously in projects of varying size and intensity, in addition to having a quick eye for error in grammar and spelling.
As an individual I am enthusiastic, intelligent and eager to learn. I have a quick mind, and am an excellent problem solver, trouble shooter etc. I work hard; I believe in earning my wages, and always strive to be as professional as possible.
As a service I can offer proofreading and editing of documents of any kind, but particularly that relate to my previous education, such as literature or translation. I relish a challenge and would therefore be more than willing to take on research work also.
I also offer typing and audio transcribing; I have Advanced OCR Word and Text Processing qualifications and can touch type with a speed of 65-70 words per minute with zero errors.
Although I am relatively new to this field, I feel more than qualified in proofreading and content composition, as I have previously worked for Macmillan Cancer Support in a voluntary capacity as a Volunteer Coordinator and consequently drafted several press releases etc.
