Grades K-5: The Butler School (Montessori), grades 6-10: The Calverton School, grade 11 – 12: ½ time at Calvert High School and ½ time at the College of Southern Maryland -dual-enrollment. I am also enrolled in several advanced placement courses at Calvert High School.
I am planning to attend the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, New York University or American University. I hope to begin college with enough college credits to qualify for sophomore class standing. My current high school GPA is 4.5 -- an A average, awarding me “High Honors” placement and qualifying me to compete for the Maryland Merit Scholarship.
Qualifications, Experience, and Honors
2009 Science Online Conference, Duke University. This conference exposed me to scientists from all over the world in a networking environment that allowed me to meet and interact intellectually with practicing scientists. I found this experience to be very stimulating intellectually. Once I was back at the Calverton School, I was interviewed on National Public Radio about the conference and what I took away from it.
